My computer is dead, and I won't be back for at least a week. Sorry to my power of 3 teams, I'll be back as soon as I can!
In St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives. Seven wifes with seven hats, seven hats with seven flats, seven flats with seven knives, seven knives with seven lies. Lies, knives, flats, hats, wives, Ives - who would win in a fight, a dead baby or Robot Shaq?

A quote from the ending of the Bill Maher documentary Religulous:
"The irony of religion is that because of its power to divert man to destructive courses... the world actually could come to an end. The hour is getting very late to indulge in having key decisions made by religious people, by irrationalists, by those who would steer the ship of state not by a compass, but by the equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken. The plain fact is: religion must die for mankind to live."

Genghis fucking Tron. Seeing them live was an awesome experience. If you like genre-bending music, then check them out. I could only classify them as Electro-grind-rock-core. lol
Also, a similar band that is equally as awesome... iwrestledabearonce. I know they're rediculous as fuck, but just watch ;)

I'm producing a series of audio tracks for the NG audio portal right now. It is called the "Shred-A-Long" series. Since I don't currently have the funds to buy an interface for recording guitar, I figured I'd make something a little different for the NG community using my deep collection of drum samples.
This series is basically a virtual metal drummer, for you fellow metalheads to pick up your guitar or bass and jam with. It will never be late for practice, or get piss-drunk and claim it can still keep tempo (I still love you, drummers... nothing will ever totally replace you). You can use it as a tool for practicing your chops, or to generate new riffs for your expanding arsenal. If you like my drum patterns, and would like something custom-made for your metal (or whatever genre) song... then send me a PM and we'll work something out via email attachments or AIM. Also feel free to make your own song out of the session itself, if you would like. (If you post it somewhere just give me, Scag Baron, credit for the drum track)
Each "session" as I am calling them, will have a chart in the song description laying out the structure of the track for easy reference while playing. As a bassist in an experimental/technical metal band for over 5 years, I like my metal raw and crazy... so don't expect any simple Disturbed-esque beats from this series. Also, the sessions will range from different sub-genres like doom, death, grind, and "core".

If you need some free music for your flash or film project, send me a PM! Give me a brief overview of what you need, and I'll most likely tackle it with enthusiasm. I can produce a wide array of genres and styles, and best of all I'll do it for free. All I ask in return is for full crediting of my work. I am trying to get my work heard, and my name known... so it's a win-win! Get at me! (I am on Newgrounds daily)

Thread can be found here: Movie Theme Remake Contest
Let's see what you've got, NG musicians! The rules of this contest are as follows:
Your submission must be a remake of movie theme song. It can be any length, and any genre. You may enter only one audio submission into this contest. Copy and paste the audio portal URL of your entry into a new post in this thread, saying that it is your entry. Also, you use a song that you submitted before the start of this competition. All entries must be submitted by: 11:59pm EST on Sunday March 31st, 2009. The 5 judges will each pick their most favorite entry, and then I will pick 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place winners! (I still need one more judge, PM me)
The content of your song does not have to be entirely faithful to the original piece, though it must be recognizable as that theme. Creativity will be the key to winning this competition. In other words, if your entry sounds almost like the original song, you will not be as likely to stand up to the more original and innovative entries. Let's see some ingenious adaptations!
Judges: I need 5 judges. You must be active NG audio submitters, or active reviewers. If you are neither of these, then tell me why you think you should be a judge and I might consider you. PM me if you are interested in judging this competition!
I plan on doing really distinct and creative audio competitions about once ever 2 months, so If you would like to be a consistent judge in my comps, let me know.
To promote this competition, and the innovative entries within it... I am going to have a First Place Prize!
I will award first place with $20 of NG Store credit. If you win, you tell me what you want (whether it be a t-shirt, an assload of stickers, a figurine) and I will purchase it and have it shipped directly to you. I will handle all of the ordering and the shipping costs.
Remember, creativity is the winning factor here ;) And again, good luck to all!
Here are the entries, so far:
Back-From-Purgatory - 28 Days Later Theme (Cover)
Sorrow-316 - Schindler's List (sad Theme)
Kaizerwolf - Lord Of The Rings
MH16 - James Bond (ish)
